Anna + Manny had a beautiful wedding this month. Their cake was two flavours - Tuxedo (marble) with fresh strawberries and chocolate chunk banana cake in the middle tier. I must say a lot of grooms love their banana cake! Anna + Manny are both an absolute pleasure to work with, I wish them all the best.

It's official, I've decided I am naming my marble Tuxedo. Thanks to my husband who says my take on marble reminds him of a tuxedo.

This is around the time where big companies start their United Way campaigns. I am proud to say I have donated gift certificates and dozens of cupcakes for raffles and bake sales supporting United Way.

I also like to make a point to give a blood donation, not just this time of year but all year round. It is important that we help each other. Recently I have discovered that blood type O negative is especially saved for children. Makes me happy inside. Do your part! You'll feel good about it.

Happy Halloween! Hope everyone had fun. I bought two boxes of chocolates and got 5 kids this year. What to do with left over chocolate?

2. make more chocolate bar cupcakes
3. give them to a local food bank
4. keep them for next halloween
